Just so you know... In the new version of Windows 10 which will be released to the public on 17th October, there are major changes to the included OneDrive which now supports "Files On-Demand".
XYplorer sees everything in the new OneDrive as a junction. Whether it is available offline (locally) or in the cloud.

and if you try to use the breadcrumb bar to navigate anywhere within the OneDrive folder you just get messages like this with text from another language.

It seems that all names for Junctions come up in Chinese or Japanese... see screenshot.
The really funny part is that the pink names are actually not Junctions in the location I am looking at. They are referenced by other dirs, though.
But the strange characters happen everywhere, not just in this view.

Looks like they are junctions, the JUNCTION attribute is clearly set.
What's that "Junction" column??? I only have a "Junction Target" column here. Did you rename it?

It might have something to do with the new 'Status' column in the new OneDrive which shows whether each file is:
available online only
available locally currently
available locally and set to be always available locally
shared
currently syncing
But I don't see a Junction column in XYplorer. I also don't see any 'J' in the Attr column for any of the files and folders. Even though they are all in pink and even though the Properties in the InfoPane says they are junctions... why could that be?
FYI: Screenshot of OneDrive folder in File Explorer showing the new Status that OneDrive keeps track of:

I don't remember exactly, (I'm on a different non-virtual machine just now.) PROBABLY it is a computed column combining Junction Target and Symbolic Link Target .. did this somewhere to save space. (Yes, I'm getting lost in mi virtual M's.)

I've tried out 18.50.0013 but it made no difference.
So I disabled the new "Files on Demand" feature in OneDrive, which turned all the folders inside OneDrive back to normal folders. The top level OneDrive folder is still a junction though.
But even now I still can't use the Address Bar or the Breadcrumb Bar to navigate anywhere in the OneDrive folder. Each time I just get the message with the Chinese characters.

Hm, too bad, I thought I got it.
Does it make a difference when you untick

Please run this through the address bar. It *should* return your OneDrive path:
Code: Select all
echo getinfo("knownfolderpath", "{A52BBA46-E9E1-435f-B3D9-28DAA648C0F6}"); //onedrive path
