enum servers on networks when dragging

Several times a day, when dragging a file from XY to another application, the process hangs for maybe 30 seconds, while "enum servers on networks" is displayed in XY.
Is it possible to avoid this? I am just connected to a small home network, and I rarely access the network (and never for drag and drop).

Does this happen when you cross the tree?
It might help if you untick this:
Configuration | Tree and List | Items in Tree and List | Show Network folder

I don't show the tree. But I display a few favourite, some being networks links, and yes I might drag quickly over them to pass to the other part of my screen. And indeed, that seems to be the problem. How can this be avoided?

Display where? Catalog?

Great. That was maybe my last and only annoyance with XYplorer... that I have been using now for exactly 10 years
