HELP - Windows Multiple File Selection Process Not Working

I'm trying to copy multiple files from one pane to another.

When I use Ctrl-A to select all of the files in a directory and then right clicked to copy them to another directory in the panel below,
all of the files except one that I right-click on immediately become de-selected. When trying to select multiple discontinuous fileswith Ctrl-click or a continuous group of files with shift-click, the same thing happens. These are just standard Windows file selection shortcuts. I've never had this problem before. I'm running Windows 10 and the standard file selection shortcuts are working in all of my other applications. I tried uninstalling XYPlorer and reinstalling it, but it didn't make any difference. This makes XYPlorer almost useless for me and I love it. Any suggestions ???

Welcome to the forum

Menu - Tools - Customize List - [x] Multiple Select

I guess the current status of that item is unchecked...

I finally did find that through a Google search. Pretty obscure location and doesn't make much sense to me to not have it turned on by default, since it's a standard thing in wINDOWS.
