Ctrl+G or Ctrl+Shift+G then Esc clears any filter. Not a good idea.

And another one...

With a filter already applied (!*.jpg), Ctrl+G or Ctrl+Shift+G then Alt+F4 results in the error:

Code: Select all

---------------------------
XYplorer
---------------------------
Couldn't find location:

C:\Program Files\XYplorer\!*.jpg

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Yep, pressing Enter on empty pattern does the same, it's because of the AB changes I assume. And I agree, the Esc on Go to should not do anything else but close the window!

Interesting find! It's an old bug that only now surfaced due to the recent changes in Address Bar behavior:

Code: Select all

! Menu Go | Goto: Canceling that dialog did not Cancel any action
but pass am empty path to the browsing routines. Fixed.

WOW. And BTW independent of any VF settings.

Code: Select all

! Menu Go | Goto: Dialog crashed when canceling it by pressing
      Alt+F4. Fixed.
Thanks. Luckily not many people use Alt+F4 nowadays...

I assumed that they were related to the new Address Bar behaviour. I realise that I'm probably one of the few K/B users but since I can still type at 40+ wpm it's far faster than using the mouse - besides I've never found a mouse that I can enter text with! (I know, the tablet does have a built in K/B but it's only one character at a time).

Not when pressing Esc if enough, no ;)
