XYplorer Beta Club

Hi,

I'm facing a strange situation, in which XYplorer (v17.70 and earlier) can't drag&drop files into many applications.
I mean, with some applications, it works. But with other ones, the targe application doesn't receive XYplorer files anyway.
I tested drag&drop into Citavi (Citation Manager) and Xara Designer also using Windows File Explorer and FreeCommander, which worked. So the problem seems to be related with XYplorer. I recorded my screen showing the tests: https://goo.gl/im1S3Y
Does anyone know how to enable XYplorer to drag&drop files into any application?

And you are 1000% sure that Citavi / Xara Designer are NOT started with admin permission ("start as admin")?

Citavi is 32bit (C:\Program Files (x86)\Citavi 5\bin\Citavi.exe)
Xara Designer is 64bit (C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Designer Pro X\12\DesignerPro.exe)

Nope. Bitness doesn't matter. On my system (Server 2016 - 1607 RS1 Build 14393) I can drag&drop from XY (17.70.0104) to Citavi 5.5.0.1 without problems...

I think the problem can be related with XYplorer portable version. Even running with administration rights drag&drop doesn't work in those applications.

Then, I just installed XYplorer .exe version and I could drag&drop PDFs into Citavi.

However, even using XYplorer .exe, I am still not able to drag&drop image files into Xara Designer.

If it isn't asking too much, could you please install Xara (www.xara.com/us/designer-pro/download) and try to drag&drop image files into it?

It's not about XY being portable or not. My portable version drags&drops to Citavi without problems.

But it doesn't work with Xara Designer Pro X (x64)

Configuration | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop | Use standard shell drag and drop

Configuration | Shell Integration | Drag and Drop | Use standard shell drag and drop

By setting XYplorer this way I can now (even using portable version) drag&drop into Citavi, although drag&drop is still not work into Xara Designer.

Would there be any other workaround to try enable drag&drop from XYplorer into Xara?
