Column layout does not preserve when switching tabset

Column layout that I have saved does not preserve after I switch tabset. If it is part of a tabset, it does not preserve if I load that tabset again.
What is the procedure?

Configuration - Colors and Styles - Styles - Button "Apply to..."
[x] Column layout (positions, widths, visibility)
