Automatically fill columns?

So I was browsing through Custom Columns and noticed a couple that would be really useful, but also really tedious to fill individually. For example: Season, Episode Number and Episode Name would be really useful for all the TV shows I have, since most of my shows don't have episode names in their file names, but I have literally hundreds of episodes of various shows. Would it be possible to, say, make a text file listing each episode and create some sort of script which would match and assign each file its own season/episode/name?

Similarly, the "Description" column would be really useful for all the youtube videos I download, but once again extremely tedious to enter in individually (although there would probably be no way around some amount of tedium in this case, since there's probably no way to get the descriptions without going to each youtube video individually and copying the descriptions manually).

Okay, so let's say I've got a show called "Detective Hardboil". Audiences can't get enough of Hardboil's no-nonsense attitude which conceals a heart of gold, and it's snappy writing has ensured that it was renewed for a second. Let's say that I downloaded both seasons (perhaps extra-legally), and the filenames read as:

Detective Hardboil s01e01
Detective Hardboil s01e02
Detective Hardboil s01e03
Detective Hardboil s02e01
Detective Hardboil s02e02
Detective Hardboil s02e03

(sometimes the filenames won't be so uniform, but s(X)e(Y) will usually be somewhere in the filename)

Now, let's say I were to make a .txt file that listed each episode's season#, episode# and name, like so:

01 01 The Missing Mother
01 02 The Crooked Caper
01 03 The Dame to Die for
02 01 The One that Got Away

(etc.)

Now let's say that I wanted to put all that information into its corresponding column in XYplorer.

- From where does the script get the title of each episode (without a previously provided url from (I guess) youtube)?
- Where should the .txt file be stored, in the folder where those files reside?
- Why should there be a .txt file at all, if the names have the S<xx>E<yy> somewhere
inside them, a custom column could read those parts directly
- You are aware that all your files should have the same naming structure to be able
to extract the necessary parts (regardless if a .txt file is used or the columns read the parts)?

Never mind. After playing around a bit, it turns out this would be a much more complicated solution than I'm looking for.
