Can I compare the files in two folders and IGNORE file extension?

I regularly need to compare two foldrers where I've converted file format (.mpg to mp4, etc.)

I just want to make sure that I've not missed any files.
So I want to see if for every XYZ.mpg there is an XYZ.mp4

Any way to do that?

Sure.

- Make sure you are in dual pane mode and have the source + destination folder open (one in each pane)
- Menu - Panes - Sync Select...
- Mark the "Ignore extensions" checkbox
- Choose e.g. "Select Matches"

Let's say in the left / upper pane the source (.mpg files) folder was open. Then all non-selected
items have a missing counterpart in the other pane (they were not converted)
