Search content of .ODT files

I love XYplorer and am using it since 2010.
But I do love also LibreOffice (since OpenOffice 'till be bought by Oracle).

I am very adapted to the use of regular expressions at search.

However, I am not getting my XYplorer to find results at my Writer's files (.ODT file extension), using regex or not, trying the option "Text and Binary".

My searches result in finding stuff at .DOC and .PDF files, but thru my .ODT files the search just passes by.

Anyone had the same problem?

Thanks!

Without an installed 32-bit iFilter for .ODT files -> No search results (and the text part of such a document is not directly readable -> no binary search result)

To those that have experiencied the same, here is how I've reached a solution.

I have updated to the last LibreOffice. When installing, choose the custom installation and check on the ActiveX option.

Now XYplorer is searching content in my .ODT files.

Thanks, highend. You just pointed the way.
