Why does Xyplorer show multiple rows with same search results?

I have read the support documents through and through and as yet am unable to find any topic in any forum or the help pages that provide the answer. Just saying, I would love to know why I am getting multiple rows of the same result in any search I make. Thank you for any help, Gary

Welcome to the club

XY version?
Screenshot of that result list (including the search panel content at the bottom)?
And please sort the result list after paths (normally the left column)

Dear highend: I appreciate your quick feedback. This is a great product.

I don't recall what I did yesterday, to change the operations of the product. However, now I can get a display of results in either "format", i.e. as reported "multiple results with the same information", and variable results, all different.

I have uploaded the screen shots I took of the issue, and you should be able to see both the results with the problem as stated, and the one without the problem.

Thank you, Gary

Untick "Follow Folder Links" and the dupes should be gone.

Is there a way, by the way, to sort by multiple columns at once, listing which columns to sort first, 2nd, etc.?
The pro one has a scripting command to set a primary and (at least) a secondary sort order

Secondary sorting: also possible by clicking a column header while holding Shift

Thank you. That appears to have fixed it. I was just trying something else however, and the program crashed. I'll start a new comment about it.
