Target folder selection being lost after copy

For some reason on my new laptop where I've installed XYplorer, when I copy a folder to another pane or another tab, after the copy is complete the target/destination folder stays selected for about 1 second and then becomes unselected on its own. I can't understand why. I have synchronized all my XYplorer settings from my other computer, but this problem with the deselecting only happens on this new laptop. Can anyone think of why?

You're really using XYplorer as the copy handler?
Configuration | File Operations | External Copy Handlers | Select copy handler

I haven't got an external copy handler configured. Just using XYplorer.

I had this problem twice in last years. The second time was a week or two ago. Then Don made something and it went away.
It had something to do with custom copy when combined with background processing (copy/omve inter-volume by default).
Edit: only with background processing, not custom copy, sorry.

Thanks tedy. I upgraded from 17.30 to 17.40.0100 and it looks like the problem is gone.
I had hoped to stay on 17.30 because that is the last version before the support for automatic appearance of portable devices in the tree in Windows 10 was removed. Oh well.
