No Redraw of Folders in Treeview (left)

hi,
it happens to me very often:
I create new folder.
In the Listview, everything's fine and redraw seems to be correct.
On the left, treeview, the folders do not appear (also not if i press F5) until i go into them in listview. If I go there in the listview, all new folders suddenly appear in treeview.
Hope this is not a known bug..
Cheers, ReviewPilot.

hmm, might not be always when directly creating new folders. I cannot reproduce that now. But might be if I copy folders there, or extract ann archive or so. I guess I have to test when exactly it happens to support healing of that issue

There's a known refresh issue when extracting archives. Everything else should work okay.
BTW, to refresh the tree press F4. F5 does only the list.

Is there a way currently to get F5 to do both, or will I have to wait for scriptable hotkeys? I like F5 to simply refresh everything so I don't have to think about why things aren't showing up.

Easy: Redefine keyboard shortcut Miscellaneous / General Functions / Refresh Tree and List

Aha - I was looking in the View category and could only find the separate "Refresh Tree" and "Refresh File List" items.

Maybe I should change it to something more expected: F5 -> Refresh/Reset List and Tree. Maybe... but it's a long standing XYplorer tradition to have F4 and F5 separated and have F5 Refresh without Reset (i.e. keeping any selections and scroll position). So I'm for keep it.

Hell yeah, not just for tradition but also because I think it's best to have F5 refresh List smoothly (i.e. keeping any selections and scroll position).
Besides, there's CKS for anyone who feels differently
