i have the last built of xyplorer and i enabled the mini tree view->mini tree->mini tree
but nothing , there is nothing
it doesn't show anything

what's wrong?

The Mini Tree will start showing folders as you visit them in the list.

in short Jerry i have to shift+ F8 from window menu and after mini tree?
is the only way?

Not sure I follow what the actual problem is. Shift-F8 toggles the viewing of the tree pane - whether Mini Tree is enabled or not. If the tree pane is not visible, the Mini Tree is still active behind the scenes and will still be adding folders to its hierarchy as you visit them in the list. What exactly is it that you are expecting to see but are not?

do you use the mini panel ? can you tell me how do you use ? maybe a short step by step

I'm still not clear what the issue is. There is no separate Mini-Tree pane - it's the same tree pane as the regular tree, just in a different mode. The Mini Tree (mode) is active whether the tree pane is visible or not. It's called Mini not because it's in a mini pane of some sort, but because it only shows a "minimal" tree -ie. only shows folders as you visit them, instead of always showing all drives and all child folders under an opened parent folder at all times.

I use the Mini Tree exclusively because I work with many drives that have many folders and hierarchies. So in the tree, I want to see only the specific drives and folders that I am working with in the current session (or until I reset the Mini Tree). I rarely directly expand a folder in the Mini Tree, because that will then show all the child nodes under the tree (just like in regular tree mode). Instead, the Mini Tree gets populated only as I visit folders in any of the following ways:

• double-clicking on child folders in the list pane
• creating new child folders in the list plane
• selecting child folders from the drop down list that appears by right-clicking on a folder's + indicator in the tree
• go to paths from the Favorite Folders list
• go to paths via Direct Folder Pro, a third-party utility (so I can have access to favorite paths in Windows Explorer open/save dialogs)
• most often, by clicking on a result in Everything.exe, a third-party instantaneous search-by-name utility, which then takes me to the folder in XYplorer.
