Write speeds not on par with windows 8 or windows 10

To test,i have tried several times copying 8 Gb file from internal hdd to a portable drive,when i use custom copy the copy(write) speed is not as fast as i get with windows 8 or windows 10's ,speed is 7-8 MB/s less than that of windows 8 or windows 10.

Something about 5 to 6% difference in speed.

Well, not too bad IMO. Explorer might use some special tricks who knows.
XYplorer's speed is ergonomic, not just ballistic.
