Double-click on background = Go up

I know that this feature already works for most cases.
My wish would be to have it working for "my computer" (being that the double-click would take me to the desktop) and on the "currently not available" screen, being that the double-click would take me to "my computer".
I noticed that in the tree of XYplorer, the desktop is located below my computer, thus, maybe it should appear on the list when browsing "my computer"? (this would take out the need for the first part of my request).
Thanks!

It doesn't work on "currently not available" as there's no List here, I believe. Though this could be added, might be nice I'd agree.
Can't make you go to Desktop from My Computer though, since as you said Desktop in UNDER My Computer in XY (both more logical, and saves space)
I don't think having Desktop listed on MC will happen. Doesn't make much sense, especially on a list of drives, IMHO.
If you need a quick way to your Desktop, you can add it to your Catalog! Then, it will only be one click away

That's the thing. In the tree, it's under MC, which means that it should appear when we open MC, just as control pannel appears in MC on explorer.
it's just a matter of consistency, because the way it is now is just a bit confusing IMO.

Well, it's because MC only lists the Drives. Desktop is not there, neither are My Documents or My Network Places....
