Precreate thumbs within subfolders

Hey gurus,

I'm wondering if there's a possibility to (pre)create thumbnails in subfolders?
That would take a longer time once but would save time later while browsing.

Thanks in advance!

Tom

the first thing comes to mind is go to desired folder(parent one), make it Flat View to show all subs, and thumbs will be created(or create them manually if you don't have it in auto).

Currently there is no such option / script command... (without visiting such a folder manually)

Menu - Configuration... Preview - Thumbnails - Quality - High Speed
is already chosen?

Please don't understand me wrong. Browsing is fast enough for daily use.
I'm working as a photographer so I have very large collections and files, so precreating would be a good option for me (especially raw files take some time).

So, don't worry, highend, it's a special scenario just for me. :)

I think, I give the flat view a try, thanks for the hint, eil.

And... maybe... it could be a future feature... future feature. Future-feature. Feet. Food. Feet-Food!

No problem. It isn't so that this couldn't be automated, but not without blocking XY during the whole process (you could do that with a second XY instance...)
