Multiple copies with increasing number in filename

Post by Patrick Schönbach »

Hello,

if I have a folder "Folder 1", is it possible to create several copies while increasing the number? If so, how?

By executing "something" each time to create a single copy or by executing (a script) only one time to create a range of copies?

Ok, but just using the UI, there is no such functionality?

There is File - Duplicate - Copy Here with Increment (Ctrl + D)
but that doesn't take the already existing 1 into account.

If you use a folder name without a "1" you can modify the template to:
Configuration... - Colors and Styles - Templates - Filename Affixes
" 1" (there is a leading space and don't use the quotation marks)

and whenever you select that base folder and press Ctrl + D you get:
Folder 1
Folder 2
etc.
