Is it possible to including brackets when searching for a name within XY ?

The file for which I want to find has brackets within the file name and when I do a search I get an error; that it's not a valid pattern ?

I solved the issue, I toggled off a search criteria

Could you tell me which pattern raised an error and how you solved it?

I had whole words for name & location, toggled off.

I cannot get any error message. Show me how!

I'm unable to recreate the error, I've been trying with no success; I will update when and if I can create the error.
