Set default folder icon

I don't like the new folder icon in Windows Vista. At least the 16 x 16 folder size. It makes IMHO harder (especially when using a laptop with high res.) to
navigate...

Therefore I would love to have an Configuration option that overrides the default loading the icon for the folder from the shell and instead using the specified one.

Maybe XP:s icon should be set as a standard alternative?

I think this icon is still provided in Shell32.dll (in Vista) ?

This option maybe speeds up the folder loading even more?!

Cheers Ulrik

Can't you set that icon somewhere in Vista?

Yes, I you can do that... otherwise you can use third-party apps to do this.

See this:

...But I want just to have the option to uses it in XYplorer only because it use the "XP" way of displaying the tree instead of expanded/minimised arrows that Vista Explorer does.

Is this is overkill skip it....

This looks like a GUI disaster if you ask me.
