Double-click whitespace for parent folder

I kept seeing rave about this feature in DOpus, and now that I've tried it in Windows Explorer using the Pitaschio application, I realize it's the feature I never knew I always wanted.

Basically, double-clicking the whitespace will take you up a level to the parent folder. Not back in history but up the tree a level.

Actually, though I just realized that there's the right-click Up option which is good. Not as fast  but at least the functionality that I want is there.

Has a function already:

Dbl-Click On the white space: scroll focused item into view.

or how about holding the right-click down and click left to go higher up and vice-versa to go deeper?

Very cool, thanks!

I, uh, I don't understand what the XYplorer default behavior is anyway.

I like it.:D I don't think I need the clickable breadcrumbs anymore.

Mr Lessau, your reactiveness is excellent.

Just one question: if I give you a list (long certainly) of things I don't like about Windows or MS Word, can you see to it that they get resolved in the next couple of days, seeing as how you're kind of a miracle worker!

KUTGW!

The list of things I don't like about MS Word is very short:
(1) MS Word

Resolution: do not use it!

HTH

I'm afraid it's kind of requisite for me, but I agree with you. What do you recommend in its stead?

Sadly I was just joking. I use UltraEdit as much as possible (100% for any writing directed to myself) but as for official letters, bills etc. I use the evil big W. I know there's OpenOffice, and I should give it a try, but the days are short, man...
