Set Font for Quick Preview > Raw

I'd like to configure the Font for the "Raw Preview" - I need to view some unicode-characters that are not in the current font (so the previews are not really helpful).

Not possible, I'm afraid. You just can choose between Small, Large, and Heavy via R-Click menu in the Raw View.

I was afraid you may so. Any chance to consider this for an update? Please? (kindly asking, waving with huge cheque for upcoming registration as a reward)
;-)

OK, I had a slick idea how to improve this without much hassle... next beta...

That's great news, thanks - I'm looking forward to the release! ;-)

Thanks Donald - I got the release and have sent the reward ;-)
Now - unfortunately it doesn't seem to work right. Screenshot shows what I mean - the floating preview is correct, but the Raw View seems to have trouble with the Unicode-Characters.

I'm enclosing the file for your tests. The font I configured for the preview is "APL-385" and is freely available [url

It's not trouble, it's the truth. This is the Raw View, and it shows you the raw bytes. No matter which font (as long as the font can display the whole ANSI set).

A "raw view" of a Unicode-file in my understanding should consider that special encoding or at least have an "Unicode-mode".
But I don't want to argue about that - I was not aware that I could extend the list of previewwed formats before, but after including my favourite extensions, their are shown correctly in the standard preview, so I'm happy with that ;-)

OK. Nevertheless the 4th font option for RawView is a nice little enhancement IMO.
