XYplorer Beta Club

How do I add WinRar to the right click menu in XYplorer for Windows 10 64-bit? It already appears in Windows Explorer. I have it in my old Windows 7 PC but I can't remember if I had to add a line of configuration code - or where - to make it appear.

If WinRAR doesn't install the x86 context menu use the "Show 64-bit Context Menu" entry in XY's context menu or enable it as default (if you don't need the XYplorer specific entries) by checking:

Configuration | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Show the 64-bit context menu

There is no 64-bit option in Shell Integration. This is what I have http://whatwant.ca/xyplorer.jpg

It also says I need Administrator rights to change this setting (which I have for Win 10) but it won't allow me to check the box if that's what I have to do. And I tried "Jump to Setting" and but there is no 64-bit.

Update your XYplorer.

1. 64-bit context menu is an entry inside the normal context menu of XYplorer
2. What it means with "you must have admin rights": start XY with admin permissions (e.g. with the right click context menu on xyplorer.exe). Using "an administrator account" doesn't mean: You have full admin permissions

Which didn't appear until v13.60.0010. So as Marco says, update your XYplorer.

Thanks for this. Very stupid of me, but for some reason it was not set to auto update. Updated version added zip but removed my old version of Winrar - I probably need to get the 64-bit Winrar software for it to appear, but for now WinZip is OK.
