Floating Preview: Browse by...

As you probably know, in Floating Preview when you do Next/Previous, then the next file **within the category** will be previewed (e.g. the next image file, if the current one is an image file).

BTW, the categories are the ones listed in Configuration | Previewed Formats | Category:
Text Files
Office Files
Web Files
Font Files
Image Files
Audio & Video Files

Now I want to offer a little more control here by giving 3 options:
- Browse by Same Extension
- Browse by Same Category (= the current hard option)
- Browse All Files

My question: Are the above captions good English for the job? :)

Those are perfectly fine captions.
EDIT: Also, removing "Same" would be okay here. /edit

The only downside being does the user actually know about and understand "Categories" as used here?
There's no good way around that though - adopting Microsoft's nomenclature of "Kind" might be more easily understood for new users but then it's inconsistent within XY.

Just because you're opening the can...
I'm sure this will lead to requests for:
Browse by Label
Browse by Tags
Browse by Extra 1-5

:) Keep the cans closed, folks, carnival is over!

Thanks, I'll go for the short version (no "same").

PS: Just saw that the FP context menu uses "Navigate", not "Browse". Would that work as well?

Cyclic Navigation
Navigate by Click
---------------------------------
Navigate by Extension
Navigate by Category
Navigate All Files
---------------------------------

Navigate is still good - better since it's consistent with other uses in that scope.

Would "Content Type" be a good substitute for "Category"?
It think "Category", though being a perfect classification descriptor, could be a tad bit too abstract (for newbies).

Cheers, FH

Category is already used elsewhere in XY for this, so it's consistent.
