Slow in network location?

I been using Directory Opus for a while and find that this XYplorer is much better and like it a lot. I did notice however when going to network volumes and going into directories with a ton of video or images files it takes a while for the directory to open and display the contents. When using Opus or even Windows Explorer its very snappy no lag at all.
Any ideas what I might have turned on that I need to turn off to increase the speed?
Thanks
Chuck

If you try the portable (
http://www.xyplorer.com/download/xyplor ... nstall.zip) version, is that one slow as well?
If not, show a screenshot of Menu - Tools - Configuration... - General - Refresh, Icons, History

What I meant was: Try the portable version (with no configuration changes) against your current version to see if that one is faster.
Or, if you use the pro (and not the free one), use:
::fresh;
in the address bar to get a non modified version to test.
Apart from that:
[ ] Configuration | Refresh, Icons, History | Auto-Refresh | Include network locations
[ ] Configuration | Refresh, Icons, History | Auto-Refresh | Refresh during file operations
[x] Configuration | Refresh, Icons, History | Icons | Use generic icons for super-fast browsing
[x] Configuration | Refresh, Icons, History | Icons | But only in network locations
and test if that makes a difference...

Try to tick both:
Configuration | Refresh, Icons, History | Icons | Use generic icons for super-fast browsing
Configuration | Refresh, Icons, History | Icons | But only in network locations

This seemed to work. Thanks for the help. It's much quicker now.
