Can XYplorer made default?

Windows Explorer in my case, continually crashes, can XYplorer be made default
and replace Win Explore? Thanks.

I did this, but it doesn't seem to truly make it the default. If I press Win+E it still opens up the default windows explorer instead of XYplorer.

Yes, XY has currently no means to overwrite the global system hotkey Win+E.

There are alternatives if you can retrain yourself to use Win+<something else>, as well as some examples of how to use AutoHotkey to remap Win+E.
