Hi

I have a problem when I want to delete a folder on network drive :
- create a folder "toto" in Z:\TEST (Z: is a network drive)
- select toto and delete it ('Del' key)
- I have an error message (in french ;o)) like that : "impossible to delete folder toto : the specified file is not found. Verify that the path and the name are correct". But in fact, toto has correctly been deleted...

I have the same problem for all subfolders in Z:\TEST\toto if toto contains subfolders.

It is very irritating when there are many and many subfolders in the folder I want to delete.

There is no problem for files but only for folders.

I cannot reproduce it using the last XYplorer version 6.00.0008.

I have find the good sequence to reproduce the problem :
- create 2 folders (toto and titi) in Z:\TEST (Z: is a network drive)
- go to Z:\TEST
- close XYplorer
- open XYplorer
- delete toto : OK, no error
- go to C:\ (no tab must be open on Z:)
- close XYplorer
- open XYplorer
- go to Z:\TEST
- delete titi : NOK, error, but titi is nevertheless deleted

Strange is also that I cannot reproduce it. Some other factor must play a role here.

Do you want I send you my configuration file ?
I cannot send it now because I am not at work until next monday
And I want to test my problem with a very simple config file.

I can reproduce the problem with a new virgin configuration file :
- create an empty test.ini file
- in XY : file / config file / load and then select test.ini
- [XY restarts]
- go to Z:\TEST
- create a folder "toto"
- delete "toto"
- error message

But I have also a new remark : Z drive is a network drive on a server but not a share from a Windows computer. Z is connected by a logon script when the computer starts.
I can reproduce that on Z: but not on J: (J: is a share from a Win NT 4.0 Workstation conputer).
And I think Z: needs authentification (based on my Win XP login).

Can you explain me how to know the kind of this network drive ?
The server where Z: is connected is not visible in the "NetworkList 1.00.0008" tool.

As expected I cannot reproduce it. So it is infact related to the type of the share. Can't do anything about it.

BTW, the error you are seeing is from the shell, not from XY itself.
