I have noticed this tiny "irregularity":
When I insert a flash into usb, the marked folder in the tree will expand. No big deal, absolutely...

Really? Does not happen here. Can anybody confirm?

I think you should test it with the very last beta: v16.10.0203

It was related to that fix.

Indeed it still does not work for locked trees. I could reproduce it for unlocked trees as well and fixed it there. I assumed that this fix was good enough for locked trees as well. Wrong. Next version...

I think that odd things still happens when usb flash'es are inserted.
As mentioned before, I use a very simple setup of XY, with a tree in the left pane and a right pane with files/folders.
I also use a desktop toolbar program. Fore easy use of this program, I set a custom icon for the programs working directories.
These custom icons are showed correctly in XY's right pane, while the left pane will show the default windows icon (Yes, I know it is WinXP icons, I simply hate the Win7 folder icons).




Now, when I insert a flash drive, the icons will also be correct in the left pane




If I then remove the flash drive, the icons will return to default folder icons if the "Toolbars" folder is not selected or expanded.
If the "Toolbars" folder is selected/expanded the icons will flash between custom/default icons but will end up being custom.

I hope this explanation is understandable...
Win 7 ult 32bit.
XY version 16.20

Those icons are assigned with a 3rd party app?
