SVG thumbnail support for Inkscape files

Hello,

I'm trying to get SVG thumbnails in Xyplorer, but right now, it's not working. In thumbnail view, I see the Inkscape icon instead.

In Windows Explorer, I do see the svg thumbnails.

My setup:
- Windows 7, 64bit.
- Installed Inkscape, set as default svg editor.
- Installed "SVG Explorer Extension", which allows me to see svg thumbnails in Windows Explorer.
- In Xyplorer Configuration - preview formats, I have unticked *.svg for text files, and ticked *.svg for web and office files

In another thread, I saw the suggestion to go to Configuration | Thumbnails | Enable shell thumbnails and enable it. But I can't find that option (I've looked in Configuration - Preview)

I also saw the option to use Mystic Thumbs, but I'd rather not pay of that plugin, just to get svg previews (especially since it's already working in Windows Explorer).

Any suggestions?

Welcome to the club.

Are these file extensions from Inkscape 32 or 64 bit?

64 bit ones will not work.

Well, I'm pretty sure the next release will support SVG thumbnails. Another user reported that it works now. See here: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 88#p132488

@highend:
It's Inkscape 64bit. So you suggest that if I install Inkscape 32bit instead, the svg thumbnails will show up in XYplorer?

@admin:
Great news to hear that it's coming. Thanks!

That would probably have helped but if Don introduces svg support anyway I'd just wait...
