Yeah I love drama :P ;)

Seriously though, with latest beta I do not get any List ctxt menu anymore!!  You can't do that to me, I need that damn thing or else I can't work!

Hadn't kept any older betas, so I'm back to 0015 for now. Can't live without that menu...

I guess that's what we'll have to do with Don being so slow, I mean how long since I reported that? Over 5 minutes right?? And still no fix?? :P

So, you mess with the Tab's ctxt menu this time it seems, or you fall in love with separators

Ok found another bug, but this one might be a little older.. I think it may have bugged me for a while now, which is why I decided to finally clean my history & make some tests to see how it went because it didn't always work as I expected...

The menus "Back" & "Forward" on List ctxt menu actually does the same as "Up" it seems. Toolbar or Alt+Left/Right work fine, only using this menu does it not.

For sure it was in 0026, and I just checked it is in 0015 (Last official rls) as well.

Just a reminder of the obvious: beta versions come fast and furious, and it's a good idea not to delete your last version. That way, you can always revert back for a day or two.

I never expect full stability except in formal release versions.

 Hey, these commands never ever* worked!!

What kind of BETA testers are you? :P

* EDIT: not never ever but only since I dual-monitor-fixed that menu... so it is not as bad as I thought.

Yes, you are right. But XY being such a great/stable product even in its betas, I kinda got used to always work with betas & not having any problem whatsoever with it...
I do usually keep a somewhat older beta along, just in case, but it's not rare that I don't.

I second that!!! :D Some of these context menus are finally becoming usable for me. Non dual monitor users don't know what a pain it is when your menu pops up 1000+ pixels from where you expect it. :?

I'll use this thread instead of creating a new one, as it basically applies to my reaction in seeing this:

Code: Select all

- Menu Tools: removed the command "Search Templates...". The
identical command in menu Edit is enough.
:(
I've never accessed this command via the Edit menu (to my knowledge), as I always considered it a Tool and not an Edit function, and on Tools menu, it was the 5th entry while on Edit, it's 21st, so a much more cursor movement needed...ok, so why don't I use KS to access it? Cause I try to use my touchpad as much as possible and avoid keyboard...

Personally, I think it was the Edit entry that was redundant and less useful in terms of quick access via mouse...

hm.. well there might have been more than "quick access via mouse" in terms of criteria, such as the fact that the one in Edit menu made sense since that's where all other Find-related comands are located as well; besides, that Edit menu with all the Find-related commands also appear on the List's ctxt menu, so I definately think that of the two the one in Edit was the one to stay, even if it's located "lower" inside the menu...
