:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Old shortcut key not working

Post by Orson »

I have not been closely following the coverage of customizable keyboard shortcuts, so maybe I missed some vital info. But I was surprised to discover that in version 5.80.0026 the old Alt+Home does not go back to my home setting on a tab, and it appears I cannot set a shortcut key for this action either.

What am I missing?

I guess something in my config is screwed up. Alt+Home does not work. I just closed my tabs with locked home zones, and tried recreating one with a locked home zone. Alt+Home did not work. Also, in the list of shortcuts, I don't see Alt+Home listed as the shortcut for this.

When I try to set it as the shortcut, a red prompt says, "Navigation keys are not customizable."

.... Okay, I just clicked the Reset button in the and that restored Alt+Home, and it's working now. Not sure what happened....... thanks.

That was probably just an upgrading issue. The whole CKS thing is a boiling vulcano still... some more days and it will cool down in some nice and reliable shape.

Also there's a bug you just help me to discover: the "Remove All..." command in CKS does remove navigation keys which it should not.
