/k... -> /c
runret will wait forever on /k...
Is there a reason why you don't call dccon.exe directly instead of a starting a cmd.exe in runret?

thanks for hint and I found run "instead of runret" works fine for me
Code: Select all

dccon.exe is the console version of the program and it's faster than graphical interface

That's not what I meant...
Why didn't you just use this the first place (where I expected that you want to gather it's output)?
Code: Select all
runret ("""C:\Program Files\dcrypt\dccon.exe"" -mountall");

1-The requested operation requires elevation
2-after elevating xy, no command prompt pops up to enter password so xy keeps not responding

ic. runret is there to not show any gui but to run things backgrounded and gather their output. the simple run ... is the correct command in your case.
