This is a variation of a method I use to keep a fresh list of the last 1457 XYini files so a minimum versioning is also possible.
The "$max" variable holds the maximum number of backups to be kept. Older ones will vanish if $max is reached.

Multi-items, multi-locations supported.

*tested on FILES (not folders) of SMALL size*, can't say how it reacts on other scenarios (theoretically, no problems should occur).
