N'a donkey, a donkey! My kingdom for a donkey!
-Sir Manoteu
Ever wanted a quick access to toolbar's buttons? A second toolbar, perhaps...? A third, fourth one?
What about a clever way to manage your toolbar?
In my cruzade for a mouseless, touchpad-free navigation, I finally found a way to get rid of the toolbar travelling, bringing the toolbar to the point of my cursor! Yikes!
I was about to publish a script which then I found very similar to Ken's vTBs, so a major revision would be necessary.
The result is
-you can easily switch among 3 (2 + default toolbar) in the same session
-not satisfied? store as many toolbars you want under a "<xyscripts>\z_voolbar_xySF.xys" file; each toolbar can have a description plus the sequence of buttons in the format "description***button 1,button 2,..."
-if the toolbars file is present, a selection dialog is popped so you can pick the toolbar you want; else, the current toolbar will be popped at cursor's position after chosing 1 for left clicks, 2 for right, 3 for a combination of both.
-previously loaded toolbar is stored under a permanent ("perma") variable, always ready to be stored on the toolbars files or reused - actions made using item 8 (write perma into toolbars file) or 7 (toolbars from perma)
-at anytime a new perma toolbar can be created, using item 4; to load it, run the script again and choose option 7 (toolbar from perma)
-homesick? Option 5 brings the XY default toolbar back; option 6 toggles its size (you may need to run it a second time, if on first run the toggle doesn't happen)
-maintenance: option 9 brings you to the toolbars file; option A stores current toolbar as a perma one; option X destroys the perma toolbar value
