Rotated thumbnails preview

Hi,

I'd love to see a new "Views" option where you can show thumbnails at a certain angle (especially 90 or 180 degrees). That is, I don't want to change the original and I don't want to use floating preview for a single image. I just want all pictures in the folder I'm currently in to be displayed at an angle until I choose to change the view again.

Any plans for something like this?

Best wishes,
Petra

Not planned. Sounds a little exotic, doesn't it?

Lol, I see your point, but I do have a legitimate use for it: choosing knitting patterns. Depending on which direction you're knitting a sweater in, the end result appears from a different angle than the picture of the pattern.

And I have hundreds of patterns to choose from and love to put my preselection into a paper folder, which is why I don't really want to use a different program just to view the pictures at an angle.

Wouldn't it be easier to just rotate the monitor? ;)

I second p85's wish. It explains things that used to mystify me, such as pulling a sweater over my head that seems too tight and with an endless turtleneck, while one of the sleeves turns out way too short and loose.
