"Details bar" visable when not in details view

The bar that shows at the top when in details view is sticking around when I switch to other views (thumbnails, icons, list, etc.). It didn't always do this, but its doing it now. How do I get rid of it when not in details view? Thank you!

You guys know, however, that by getting rid of it you're trading in a cleaner look for less fuctionality? Clicking on that bar allows you to sort your list very comfortably, on the fly. Always seeing at first glance (the up/downward triangle) how your list is currently sorted.

Absolutely! Could not live without the column headers in any list view.

Same here. The first thing I used to ask for - in other managers, but luckily it's enabled by default in XY, and rightly so. It's too good a feature to be missed. So please excuse my rubbing others' noses into it, didn't mean to be patronizing.
