apply a VF that includes the newly introduced *. pattern: CTRL+J, *.;*
Now reopen VF dialog and apply the same VF again, basically CTRL+J, ENTER.

Wow, fascinating: I can reproduce it in the EXE but not in my IDE. These are (very rare) bugs that can take hours...

Can you confirm that the bug happens only in listings that actually have files without extensions?

(Actually the crucial condition was a folder *with subfolders*.)
