TGA Preview Support

I was about to purchase this but I wanted to ask/request something. I deal with TGA files all the time. I’m very happy that XY supports PSD previews, but It doesn’t look like it supports TGA previews. Is this true? Would it be hard to implement? Is it possible for the future?
Thanks

I know how to implement it, but it is a bit hard to do, and the preview would not be very fast. This is because, as you will know, TGA is not supported by Windows natively. Which means XY has to do the decoding pixel by pixel on its own.
Curious: What's so great about TGA? In 9 years you are the 2nd user ever asking for this format!

I’m a professional Game ENV artist at Midway, and TGA is widely used in the studio for textures. I don’t think it’s uncommon in the industry as a whole. Even though we are gearing more toward PSD now that Unreal can handle PSDs better, still, it would be cool to see TGA.
On that note, It would also be really awesome if XY would show a preview of the Maxfile (3dsmax). XP seems to do this already in the left pane. Would this be easy to implement.
btw, I’m on the verge of buying this, still got a few days left in the eval.

If XP can thumb it then I can preview it. What's the extension?

One possible problem may be that MAX extension can be multiple file types!
See
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdet ... rch=Search for details...
I know ".max" as PaperPort output files, but the OP here uses them differently, it seems.

Okay, I'm a bit sceptical but your screenshot means hope...
I added a way to add *.max to the (attempt-to-)previewed types. Check out the change log when I upload the next BETA version...

You have not read the instructions carefully. Try this
exactly with
all the dots:
ImagePreviewCustomExtensions=.max.tga.
