Are there any plans to make XY able to launch an application with a particular data file by dragging the data file onto the application (in the way that WE does)?

Well yes, this is actually already implemented on the latest beta! (along with dropping on archive files)

You can drop files on EXE on List or even on your Catalog to have them opened by the dropped-on application.

I didn't notice that in the release notes. Thanks
