Inquiring Minds Want To Know!

While doing a spring clean up of the files on the hard drive was struck by the following thought. We all know that Windows 8 was such a fiasco that Microsoft is distancing itself from that code and going straight to Version 10.

Which begs the following question: why was there no version 14.90 of XYplorer? While not always in the loop when it comes to this program what did I miss here? :?

I wanted the BIG new feature (Portable Devices) in a BIG new version (15.00), that's all.

BTW, I love Windows 8. :P

It came (8.1 to be accurate) an a new notebook at Christmas and by-in-large my position is one of ambivalence. However, the real work still gets done on the desktop - Win 7. Haven't decided about v10 yet. Need to know more.

I use it only in the Desktop mode, of course.

My first computer "Interfacing" was back in the 1960s. It was accomplished using a large teletype machine. There is something extremely inelegant about getting work done by smearing one's fingers all over the screen.

What's next? Back to painting glyphs on cave walls using animal blood?
