When I want to delete a folder using Shift+Del (the folder is erased and not moved to recycled bin) in the tree view, XYplorer opens a new tab and I get an error message in the previous tab : "Currently not available : C:\....\MyFolder".

Here are the actions :
- I select a folder in the tree view
- Then the list view displaies the content of this folder
- But the focus is still on the folder name in tree view
- I press Shift+Del
- I select YES in the confirmation message
- A new tab is automatically created...

I just tried this here on 5.60.08, and do not get the results you do...after deletion, the current tab moves to next folder in the tree as it should...so which vers are you using, and does it always do this for you, no matter what level of folder it is?

What I mean by level is: A folder directly within C:\ or within C:\XYZ, etc.

Yes, this happens and still with the latest beta. It is due to the fact that after the delete operation, XY changes location to the next folder on Tree.

But, if you're still holding Shift when this happens then XY opens it in a new tab, as that's what Shift stands for. And your previous tab is therefore still on the "old" (deleted) and now not available location.

Although I have to say, I do Shift+Del from Tree quite some time, and never faced this problem, especially since as soon as the window shows up (asking for confirmation) you can release the Shift key, the flag's been set. No need to keep holding Shift when pressing Enter (Yes) or while the actual removing of items.

Yes, this is the correct user behavior. Otherwise it is quite difficult for me to detect what the depressed Shift is supposed to mean.
