Limit bandwidth used

Is there a way of setting the maximum bandwidth copy will use. I'm copying a VM over my LAN (c 30GB) and its stuffing everything else <G>

Nope, always full power. But maybe you can limit it somewhere in Windows (how much RAM/CPU a particular app can get).

As good as XYcopy is, I long ago latched onto FastCopy and use it for almost everything. It will, among other things, let you dynamically adjust the copy speed. So if it's hogging the system, just dial it back. On the same control there is an "Auto-Slow" position which itself may do what you want. Great software; give it a try.
