Sequential drag and drop

I'd like to drag and drop files sequentially from one folder or drive to another, with xyplorer 'queuing' up the file copy operations, as appears to be possible with certain other windows explorer alternatives. Is there a way to do this?

thanks in advance,

Simonides.

Yes.

Tick: Configuration | File Operations | Background Processing | Enable background processing
Tick: Configuration | File Operations | Background Processing | Queue file operations
Tick: Configuration | File Operations | Custom Copy Operations | Use Custom Copy

Add "Use Custom Copy" button to the toolbar, right-click it and tick "Pause Queue".
Now add your jobs to the queue: E.g. drag files to the target, they will not be copied but added to the queue.
Finally untick "Pause Queue" and the jobs are performed, one after the other.

! Note that only Backup, Copy, and cross-volume Move operations can be queued. You can customize this under button Configuration | File Operations | Background Processing | Enable background processing | Apply To...

Which reminds me of something - SKIP ALL - could you add it to the context menu? At times I run out of time, so I pause the queue and plug off. Later, with drives no longer available, I let it run its course and quit 20 error messages by holding down Enter. Not very smooth, but I am too lazy to right-click 20 times and skip them one by one.
