Search results tab and "Open" context menu

In the "Search results" tab, if 2 files (in 2 distinct folders) are selected and if I want to open them using the context menu "Open", the fist one is correctly open but the second one cannot be open because the associated application try to find it the the folder of the first one instead of in the folder of the second one.

Example :
toto.doc in C:\toto
titi.doc in C:\titi
The search results tab (filter *.doc) shows at least toto.doc and titi.doc.
I select these 2 files.
Right click, "Open" context menu.
MS Word correctly opens toto.doc but I have a MS Word error : File not found (C:\toto\titi.doc)

Same problem with other context menu entries : Notepad++, PSPAD, Winmerge...

I know it has something to do with additional files being in other folders, but if it's something that XY is limited by OS or VB, I'm not sure.

This thread relates to a similar issue, I believe:

Yeah it's probably related, but here's what might be a little tip : I just noticed I usually do not have to face this problem, although I do open many files from SR at once, from different locations.

The thing is, if you open those files (by pressing Enter) using XY's own file associations (menu Tools|List Management|File Associations) then it all works fine! ;)

For me it works even without putting it in the XY's file associations, but only with pressing enter. Right-click and open throws an error as above. I would call this a bug too.

Yes, it is a known Shell bug. As surrender said: Use Enter instead, it is cooler anyway.
