Colors missing on Label TB-Dropdown

This started happening a few versions back. Labels still work fine, can be searched and everything. But their colors are not visible from the toolbar-button. Neither left-click nor right-click dropdown. All I get to see are empty color swatches where the colors used to be. The label-captions display as usual.

At first I chalked it up to graphics issues of the hardware. But meanwhile I noticed it on 3 different machines, so there's got to be something off kelter here.

Yeah had the same issue. Can't reproduce them yet though. They're kind of random.

I get blank files.

ed:a restart solves it.

btw, I happened to start seeing this very recently, making me think this might have some connection with PD support...

Yeah I'm sure it's related to the PD support. It happened to me right on the first version that came out with PD support and a few times afterwards.

Right. I just have to remember to always save the current layout with session manager or I'll have to start over from scratch (because of my fixed start-up paths in config).

Ed: I wonder if there is a way to trigger the save-subscript of SessionManager via CTB: first save the layout, then save XY-settings, then restart.

The problem is back. It came with one of the recent updates.

Are you under a pre-Win8 system?

Yes. Win7. The label colors are gone right from the start.

Weird. Cannot see how this could possibly happen. :?

Anyone else not seeing the colors?
I have no clue what triggers it - sometime it works, then it won't. The bug may be present at startup or come on later, or not at all. :( The function itself is not impaired, I can assign and search labels, captions are there, but the color swatches remain empty.

It's definitely not something on my private machine that's causing it. It also happens on other computers. Seems like it may be related to changing CTBs or anything that concerns toolbar layout. Is really no one else experiencing this?

I can see it happening here on my machine, but it seems so random.

I am also getting this. I started another topic before seeing this so I'll just quote it here:
jaywalker32 wrote:The drop-down selection for color label columns keeps getting 'lost' like so:

Image.

I can fix it by doing View→Caches→Refresh Icons, but it happens very often. I've tried binding #502 to a button, but that doesn't work for some reason. It says 'Icons refreshed' but doesn't fix the problem.

Is there a specific reason this happens? Maybe there's limit to the number of custom icons I can have (I have lots)? :?:

This is on Win7 x64

That's interesting. Me too. What customizations did you set up in XY? Do you have special toolbar icons, external commands, icons pulled in from foreign exe-files?

So far I have not been able to reproduce it with a ::fresh; setup - so it must be related to my ini. Also the fact that it happens on all OS, from XP to Win7 - always with any of my ini configurations.
