When searching for an item (abc.ini) in XY while it's minimized to the tray and the item is not found, XY crashes. This does not occur with the window open and focused.

This only occurs when searching a much larger directory with many items. It doesn't occur on a smaller directory.

Small Dir: ~8GB/18,960 items

Larger Dir: ~76GB/44,790 items

I attempted to duplicate this error, but given that I've only got about 10GB used on a 20GB drive, but have close to 67,000 items total, thought it might be close enough...problem is, I can't invoke search on C:\ and then get XY minimized before search is done!

When it crashes for you, are there any messages at all or does it just vanish? Because almost all the time when XY crashes for me, I get a msg and then find a DrWatson dump and log created.

FYI: The dump and log are often found at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\DrWatson

Cannot reproduce. Sounds strange.

The icon just disappears from the system tray. I can produce a flash video of this happening if anyone wants.

I believe you without the video.

I don't think we all the relevant data. It cannot be the size of the folder (alone). Something else must trigger this. Only you can find the pattern here. If you have a new idea let me know.

Well, I can't seem to reproduce this now. It must have been a fluke. Locked files or something....who knows!
