Delete Tags ?

Hello,
I use the trial portable version because I'm very interested in this software: I like tag, but I find very hard to use and manage tags.
I.e. if I want to delete a tag what I need to do ? Now I have the panel "tag with a click" that shows a list of tags, I delete a tags but the tags are always show in this list.
