It does not which is why the query was posted. Please share with me were to go to change the setting for tile size so the new feature can be put to use.

Sorry, I thought you were just commenting on the website - not actually asking where to do this.

Tools > Configuration > Preview > Thumbnails > Show thumbnails in tiles view > Small/Large Size

Tip: To make the best use of thumbnail caching I recommend configuring your tiles to use sizes you're already using for thumbnails.

Hi aurumdigitus, please go to the menu, Tools | Configuration | Thumbnails. Find the setting, "Show Thumbnails in Tiles view" (mid page - make sure it is checked). Under that setting you'll see the settings for tile size, small and large. Note, if you use the same size tile as you have for a thumbnail size (located up above on the same page), they will share the same cache which means you will cut down on the number of caches and drive space used. For example, I have large thumbnails now set to 240x240 (instead of 240x180 I had originally) and the large tiles (which is square) set also to 240.
