CMD Window size does not use my settings

Today my shiny W7-64, yes W7, new laptop arrived, with a full HD screen. One of the first things I did, before installing other software was to change the options of the CMD prompt to get a full screen, in my case 62x189, Lucida Console 14pt, green on black (I've grown up on IBM terminals)

After installing XY, and actually copying the original ini file, in fact the whole directory with XY settings (from the W7-64 desktop, after closing XY!), I tried opening a command prompt, and that works, except that I get the effing standard Windoze version, i.e. 8x12 raster font, 80x300 screen buffer, with 80x25 window size.

I have no intentions of changing this for every individual directory, in my case around 200 or so, so how can I get XY to open it in the desired full screen mode?????

Em, since when XY decides which settings a command prompt uses? :)

Open one, right click on the title bar, choose "Defaults" and configure it the way you've been used to.
Close it.

Open a new one from XY and it should retain that config...
