Mirror file operatione in dual pane

Hi,
I have a request to expand the sync browsing feature: would it be possible to make an option available to perform the same move/copy/delete operations in both panes while sync browsing with auto select?
The advantage being, of course, that you could spare yourself lengthy backup operations when you've got a backup on a different drive and want to move big files around within the same respective drives.
Best regards,
Petra

Nice idea! I make a mental note.

I could use this feature too. +1
Especially, when renaming individual files.

I could see this being useful if you want to rename a file on your C: drive and keep the name of its backup on D: in sync so you could do both via this instead of having to do rename twice (and making sure that you do it!)

The same with delete?
It seems at least there must be a lot of thinking how to implement.

Well...yes, actually...since it'd be to Recycle Bin and we have Undo...though copy/rename would be the two more likely functions it'd be useful for.

Agreed.

Ideally, I would like
any changes made to one pane to be automatically performed in the other, because my scenario is the one you mentioned earlier - working with synced drives.
I carry out a lot of reorganization and renaming in the source drive -- creating subfolders, moving folders/files to the subfolders, renaming files individually or in bulk, deleting files, etc. And in the end, I want all those changes duplicated on the mirrored drive. I don't want to otherwise have to do a formal sync (with AJCSync) to sync the drives afterwards, because that will involve a lot of unnecessary deleting, re-copying, re-verifying, and file fragmentation.
