Yes, this is something I need too. I had to disable XY as Default File Manager, and keep using Windows Explorer because of the need to navigate into ZIP files.

Windows Explorer can only preview, no automatic extraction, so no thumbnails etc.
Bandizip can preview image files.
Seer can preview media files (Alt+S), preview only.
Automatic extraction as a directory is the best, the current SSD read and write speed is very fast. :tup:
